About This Course
This graduate level course is designed to provide an introduction to basic concepts of public health research methodology, ethical issues and their practical usage. The course will focus on both quantitative and qualitative research methodology and their use in common public health problems. The modules prepared will therefore focus on various aspects of research methodology. Students will gain knowledge and skills to interpret and evaluate basic components of research proposals, develop a full research proposal and be prepared to implement in real world conditions. Throughout the course students will work on preparing an original research proposal that might prove beneficial for use in their capstone project or for their research area of interest.
