About This Course
This course builds on students existing knowledge of bioethics and research ethics by offering opportunities to apply national and/or international standards of research ethics to their study design and IRB applications. It provides practical experience in conducting critical reviews of research protocols, and in revising students own written work. This experience will improve their likelihood of successfully obtaining IRB approvals, and is applicable to their other written efforts in residency and grant applications, and publications.
